Welcome to OH Maid Cleaning. By booking a cleaning service or using our website, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
Please read them carefully.


1. Services Provided

OH Maid Cleaning offers residential cleaning services, including Basic Refresh, Standard Home Cleaning, Deep Cleaning, Move-In/Move-Out Cleaning, and Add-On Services.

We reserve the right to refuse service if a home presents unsafe, hazardous, or unsanitary conditions beyond our scope.


2. Pricing & Payments

2.1 Pricing Estimates

Pricing is based on home size, condition, and selected service.
Estimates provided online or over the phone are subject to change after the team arrives and evaluates the home.


2.2 Payment Terms

Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged.
We accept:

  • Credit/debit cards
  • Online payments
  • Invoicing for property managers
     

2.3 Additional Charges

Additional fees may apply for:

  • Heavily soiled areas
  • Excessive clutter
  • Pet-related cleaning
  • Add-on services requested on-site
  • Homes larger or more labor-intensive than described
     

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

3.1 Standard Policy

To avoid a cancellation fee, please notify us at least 24 hours before your scheduled cleaning.


3.2 Late Cancellations

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment may incur a fee up to 50% of the service cost.


3.3 No-Entry / Lockout Fee

If our cleaners arrive and cannot gain entry, a lockout fee may be charged to compensate for lost time and travel.


4. Client Responsibilities

To ensure the best cleaning experience, clients must:

  • Provide accurate home details when booking
  • Secure pets as needed
  • Declutter personal items so cleaners can access surfaces
  • Communicate any special instructions prior to arrival
  • Inform us of delicate, damaged, or high-value items
     

OH Maid Cleaning is not responsible for damage caused by items already broken, loose, or improperly installed.


5. Satisfaction Guarantee

Your satisfaction is our priority.
If you are not completely satisfied with your service, contact us within 24 hours, and we will return to correct the issue at no additional cost.


Refunds are not offered for completed cleanings, but we are committed to making things right.


6. Access to Your Home

Clients may provide access by:

  • Being home at the time of service
  • Leaving a key or access code
  • Arranging entry through a leasing office


All keys and entry codes are handled confidentially and securely.


7. Health & Safety

For the safety of our staff:

  • We do not move heavy furniture or appliances
  • We do not clean areas requiring climbing beyond a 2-step ladder
  • We do not clean mold, biohazards, or hazardous waste
  • We do not handle pest infestations
     

If unsafe conditions are present, service may be declined or rescheduled.


8. Damages & Liability

8.1 Accidents

While rare, accidental damage can occur.
Please report any issues within 24 hours.


8.2 Liability Limitations

OH Maid Cleaning is not liable for:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Pre-existing damages
  • Items left in unstable or dangerous positions
  • Specialty surfaces requiring specific products not disclosed by the client
     

8.3 Valuables

We recommend storing cash, jewelry, and irreplaceable items securely.
Our cleaners do not open closed drawers, cabinets, or rooms unless instructed.


9. Pets

We love pets, but for safety:

  • Aggressive or anxious pets should be secured
  • Pet waste cleanup may incur an additional fee
  • We cannot clean areas with significant pet contamination unless arranged in advance
     

10. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service if:

  • A home presents unsafe conditions
  • There is harassment or inappropriate behavior toward staff
  • Cleaning conditions exceed what was disclosed during booking
     

11. Privacy & Data Protection

Your personal information is kept confidential and used solely for scheduling and communication purposes.

12. Changes to Terms & Conditions

We may update these Terms at any time.
Continued use of our website or cleaning services constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
