At OH Maid Cleaning, we understand that schedules can change. To ensure fairness to our clients and our cleaning professionals, we have established the following cancellation guidelines.

Clients may cancel or reschedule their appointment up to 24 hours before the scheduled service at no charge.

If an appointment is canceled within 24 hours of the scheduled cleaning time, a late cancellation fee may be charged.

50% of the scheduled service cost

This fee compensates our cleaners for the reserved time and lost opportunities.

Appointments canceled on the day of service may incur a fee of up to 100% of the cleaning cost, depending on the circumstances.

This includes:

• Changing to a different day
   
• Reducing the service scope
   
• Requesting cancellation after the team is already en route
   

If our cleaners arrive and cannot access the home, the following fees may apply:

50% to 100% of the scheduled service fee, depending on travel time and wait time.

Common causes include:

• Incorrect access code
• Locked doors with no key available
• Leasing office unprepared to grant entry
• Pets preventing safe entry
   

Clients on weekly, biweekly, or monthly plans who frequently cancel may:

• Lose their reserved time slot
• Be charged the single-clean rate rather than the discounted recurring rate
• Be required to prepay for future services
   

We always notify clients before making any changes to their plan.

To protect our team and other clients, if anyone in your home is experiencing contagious illness (COVID, flu, etc.), please contact us to reschedule as soon as possible.

There is no fee for illness-related cancellations if communicated in advance.

If severe weather makes travel unsafe, we will reschedule at no charge.
Clients may also reschedule due to weather concerns without penalty.

You may reschedule at any time, but appointments moved within 24 hours of the scheduled time may incur the same fee as a cancellation.

To avoid cancellation fees:

✔ Cancel at least 24 hours prior
✔ Ensure access arrangements are correct
✔ Notify us quickly if you are sick
✔ Double-check your appointment date and time
